David Mitchell oversees teaching at St. George School: studio courses, the semester calendar, and student assessment. He trained as a mathematician and still teaches first-year statistics every fall.
He led the move from written exams to reviewed projects across bachelor’s programs, and chairs the committee that approves every new course.
Students know him for his open Thursday office hours, when anyone can bring a question about their program.
